All green sweet peppers will change colour as they ripen- typically to red, yellow, or orange, but there are purple peppers, too. This variety turns red.

Locally grown but not organic. Sweet potato squash (also called delicata squash) are known for their delicate rinds and creamy texture. Can be microwaved, sauteed, roasted, or steamed. The seeds are good toasted and sprinkled with salt.

Very similar to bok choi, with thicker, round leaves. Excellent in soups, or used just like bok choi.

These are the tops off of our spring turnips- and they taste as good as the bottoms! Unlike radish tops, these are not hairy. They are excellent raw in salads, or cooked like spinach.

Larger radishes that taste just like their smaller, round cousins. Excellent for any kind of recipe that requires you to slice them. And on toast (just butter, radishes, and salt).

Yellow zucs are said to have a slightly ‘nuttier’ flavour than the green ones. Can you taste the difference??

Last zucs of the season (we found some stragglers in the hoophouse!)
