PLANT: Summer Savory

A compact, comparitively fast growing little plant, with a flavour milder than winter savory.  Unlike it's winter cousin, summer savory is an annual.  Use in bean, pea, or lentil recipes- or in other recipes as a substitute for winter savory.  Some people also use summer savory as a substitute for sage.  Do not feed with liquid fertilizer, and plant in a full sun, well drained area.  Also grows well in containers.  Companion plant with beans and onions.
